Product Description

The Vango Castlewood 800XL Package is an 8-person family tent designed to give groups and families a spacious base for camping trips. It comes complete with its own poles and groundsheet, so you can pitch it straight away and settle in without fuss.

The tent’s outer flysheet is made from 100% polyester Sentinel Fabric that stands up to rain and general wear, while the sewn-in heavy-duty polyurethane groundsheet keeps the floor dry and mud-free. Inside, a fully breathable polyester inner tent helps reduce condensation on cooler nights. PowerFlex fibreglass poles give the structure a forgiving flexibility in windy conditions, and with the whole package weighing in at about 23.7 kg, it’s geared towards car camping and packs down neatly for storage or transport.

PowerFlex poles are built from layered fibreglass that bends under pressure instead of snapping, so they handle gusts with a bit of give. The breathable inner tent fabric allows moisture from breath and body heat to pass through and escape, which cuts down on damp patches, while the polyurethane coating on the groundsheet adds durable protection against ground moisture and abrasion.
