Product Description

The Robens Aster 2 Pro is a two-person dome tent designed for lightweight camping and backpacking. It balances a low packed size of 42 × 17 cm with enough interior space to sleep two and gear up comfortably.

The outer tent is made from Hydrotex Core 75D Polyester 190T with a PU coating and fire-retardant treatment, offering abrasion resistance and added safety. Inside, the 68D Polyester 190T inner tent provides good breathability, while the 75D Polyester Taffeta 185T groundsheet stands up to rough ground. Anodised aluminium #7001 poles keep the structure stable without adding excess weight, and the 240 × 220 cm floor area with a 110 cm peak height gives room to sit up or organize gear. A repair kit, guy lines and pegs are included so you can handle minor repairs or changes on the trail.

The “75D” figure indicates the denier, or thickness, of the fabric’s fibres, while “190T” describes the thread count per square inch—higher numbers mean more robust, tear-resistant material. The PU (polyurethane) coating adds water resistance, helping to shed moisture. Aluminium alloy #7001 is prized for its strength-to-weight ratio, and anodising creates a protective oxide layer to resist corrosion over many seasons of use.

The combination of dome style and short transverse ridge pole offers flexible living, cooking and storage space with excellent internal height and width that allows the two occupants to sit side by side. The twin doors allow each camper easy access and options in door opening to shelter from the wind as well as delivering cross ventilation. Locking tips and twin eyelets in sturdy webbing secure the internal poles with the ridge pole.
