Product Description

The RAB Stratosphere 4 is a lightweight airbed designed to bring a higher level of comfort to backpacking and camping trips. With an 8 cm profile, it provides a stable sleeping surface that helps reduce pressure points and improves rest on uneven ground.

Built with a 75D recycled polyester outer fabric and a TPU coating, the Stratosphere 4 balances durability and packability. Its fluorocarbon-free durable water repellent finish sheds moisture from the ground while the internal 160 gsm recycled polyester insulation traps warm air beneath you. When packed down to 30 × 14 cm, it slots easily into most rucksacks without taking up too much space.

The mattress carries an R-value of 3.8, indicating moderate thermal resistance suitable for three-season use. In practical terms, this means the pad helps block conductive heat loss to the ground, keeping you noticeably warmer than an uninsulated airbed.
