The Rab Namche Paclite Jacket is a lightweight, waterproof shell designed for men who need reliable protection from rain and wind on the trail. With its 2.5-layer Gore-TEX construction, it keeps moisture out without weighing you down, making it a straightforward choice for day hikes or multi-day treks.

Made from 100% polyester—41% of it recycled—and treated with a PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish, this jacket sheds water while reducing environmental impact. Its regular fit allows room for base and mid layers underneath, and the minimalist design packs down small, keeping bulk to a minimum when stashed in a daypack.

Gore-TEX’s 2.5-layer technology sandwiches a waterproof, breathable membrane between the outer fabric and a lightweight protective layer, cutting weight and improving packability compared to fully lined jackets. The PFC-free DWR coating repels water droplets from the surface without using perfluorinated chemicals, so rain beads up and rolls off while vapour escapes.
