The Argon Light Jacket from Peak Performance is a lightly insulated puff jacket for men, designed to provide warmth and breathability during outdoor activities. With its hoodless design, it serves as a straightforward mid layer or outer layer in cool to mildly wet conditions.

Made entirely of recycled polyester and treated with a PFC-free Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating, it sheds light moisture to keep the insulation dry and effective at trapping heat. The regular fit offers enough room for layering underneath without feeling bulky, and the synthetic filling delivers warmth even when damp.

The DWR finish causes water to bead on the surface rather than soaking in, preserving the jacket’s insulation performance. The PFC-free formula avoids perfluorinated compounds—chemicals once common in waterproof coatings but now known to persist in the environment—while still offering reliable water resistance.
