Product Description

The Nordisk Alfheim 12.6 Zip-In-Floor is a custom groundsheet made to fit the 400 × 400 cm footprint area of the Alfheim 12.6 tent. It slides neatly under your tent floor to guard against dampness, dirt and abrasion, helping to keep your sleeping area clean and extending the life of the tent base.

Constructed from 150D polyester with a 10,000 mm waterproof rating, this Zip-In-Floor offers reliable protection against puddles and damp ground while resisting punctures from stones and twigs. It packs down into a 20 × 20 cm sack and weighs 8.2 kg, making it manageable to transport on overland trips or car-camping adventures.

The 10,000 mm waterproof rating indicates the fabric can handle a ten-meter column of water before any seepage occurs, so it stands up well to moderate rain. The ‘150D’ refers to the denier count—the higher the number, the thicker and more durable the thread—ensuring a tough yet still reasonably packable footprint.
