Product Description

The Nitro Cannon is a snowboard from Nitro’s 2022-2023 lineup, built to handle powder days. Its tapered swallowtail outline and Cam-Out profile aim to help you stay afloat and in control when the snow gets deep.

The Tapered Swallowtail shape gradually narrows toward the back of the board, lifting the nose to float atop soft snow for smoother turns. The Cam-Out profile combines rocker and camber zones for a playful feel in powder without losing grip on firmer patches. A medium-stiff flex rating of 7 keeps the Cannon stable at speed and responsive when you drive into a carve.

On a scale from 1 (soft) to 10 (stiff), a flex rating of 7 means this board has enough rigidity to hold its line at higher speeds and handle variable terrain, while still offering enough give for landing and quick turn initiation.

Both sizes ride smaller than their registered length because their effective edge is reduced, but they both provide speed, incomparable float, and good times!

The Cannon is offered in two sizes 173cm and 203cm, giving you the option to go all out or completely bananas. The 173cm provides a board that is nothing short of a powerhouse on and off the piste. The 203cm length offers extra float and wow factor in the line-up, chair, and down the wide-open back bowls. The timeless swallowtail shape and Cam-Out Camber provide stability and float you need from steep groomers in the Rocky Mountains to untouched pow in the Swiss Alps.
