Exped Dura 5R Duo M

The Exped Dura 5R Duo M is an insulated airbed designed to keep campers warm and supported when the mercury drops. Measuring 183 × 105 cm with a 7 cm profile, it offers a generous surface for stretching out inside a tent and packs down neatly for transport.

The top layer is made from recycled 75D polyester, which stands up to wear and feels gentle against sleeping bags, while 160 g/m² Texpedloft microfiber insulation traps warm air to maintain comfort in temperatures as low as –20 °C. With an R-value of 4.8, it effectively blocks heat loss to the ground, and Bluesign certification means the materials meet strict environmental and safety standards. When deflated, it rolls down to 30 × 20 cm and weighs 1.47 kg, making it compact enough to carry without sacrificing warmth on cold nights.

The R-value of 4.8 indicates the pad’s thermal resistance—higher values mean better insulation, so you retain more body heat and stay warmer on chilly surfaces. Bluesign certification further ensures that every component has been vetted for low environmental impact and user safety.
