The Exped Doublemat Evazote is a simple, lightweight foam sleeping pad that adds a cushioned, insulated layer between you and the ground. Its generous size and compact roll-up design make it a straightforward choice for campers who want reliable ground insulation without extra bulk.

When unrolled, the mat provides a 200 x 100 cm surface, giving ample room for one or two people to stretch out. Despite its size, it weighs just 260 g and packs down to 51 x 15 cm, making it easy to stow in a backpack. The closed-cell Evazote® foam (density 35 kg/m³) won’t absorb moisture, so it stays light and dries quickly even in damp conditions.

Its R-value of 1.2 means the mat offers basic thermal resistance, helping to block chill from the ground in mild to cool weather. The Evazote foam’s density also provides durability and a modest amount of cushioning, while the absence of DWR coatings keeps the material free of additional chemicals.
