The Elan Primetime 55 is a piste ski built for skiers who want agile, mid-radius carving on groomed slopes. Designed as part of Elan’s Sport Mid Turn range, it offers a balance of responsiveness and stability for sporty runs.

In its 165 cm length the Primetime 55 features a sidecut of 121/69/102 mm, combining enough width at the tip and tail for solid edge grip with a narrower waist for smooth, quick transitions. Its 13.7 m radius brings lively turn initiation, while the included Elan EMX 12.0 GW Fusion bindings make for a straightforward setup and dependable on-hill performance.

Here, radius refers to the sidecut radius—the imaginary circle the ski’s edge would trace if extended into a full arc. A 13.7 m radius means the Primetime 55 naturally follows a tighter turning path, so it responds readily when you lean into a carve, helping you link precise, controlled turns down the piste.

It uses a combination of Amphibio Profile and a Dual Density Woodcore which has a thicker profile with higher density wood reinforced by Dual Ti along the inside edge for power, stability, grip, and rebound. The outside edge is constructed with a thinner profile and lighter density wood for intuitive maneuverability, improved tracking, and weight reduction. It's topped with the new Fusion X binding system that has been raised in the toe to improve balance while allowing the ski to flex naturally.
