The Primetime 33 from Elan is a men’s piste ski crafted for sporty short turns on groomed slopes. It strikes a balance between responsiveness and stability, making it suitable for skiers who enjoy carving controlled arcs on packed snow.

At 165 cm, it features a 12.2 m turn radius, so it reacts quickly when you tip it onto the edges, helping you navigate tight bends with confidence. The sidecut of 127/73/111 mm underlines this agility, offering enough platform width for steady edge hold without slowing your transitions. The ski comes with the Elan EM 11.0 GW FusionX binding, which integrates seamlessly with the ski’s profile and adds GripWalk compatibility to improve traction when walking in ski boots.

A ski’s turn radius is the theoretical circle it carves when fully edged; a smaller figure like 12.2 m is geared toward short, snappy turns rather than long, sweeping curves. Sidecut, sometimes called taillering, compares the widths at the tip, waist and tail; this difference allows the ski to flex into a curved shape under load, enhancing carving precision on firm surfaces.
