The Bataleon Thunder 22/23 is a directional snowboard designed for riders who want a balanced mix of stability and responsiveness on varied terrain. Its shape and construction make it suited to those who spend time carving groomers, exploring off-piste lines, or charging through mixed snow conditions.
With a high camber profile combined with Bataleon’s 3BT Sidekick technology, the Thunder offers a lively feel underfoot while softening the board’s edges at the very tips. This means you get the pop and precision of a traditional camber board, but with fewer edge catches when you’re initiating turns or riding at speed. A flex rating of 6 gives the Thunder enough stiffness to hold an edge and power through turns, yet still remains playful enough for quick direction changes.
High camber refers to the arching curve between the contact points of the board, which stores energy for springy turns and solid edge grip. Triple Base Technology (3BT) adds a subtle uplift at the sidewalls near the tips, blending camber with a gentle rocker to ease turn initiation and offer more forgiveness. On a scale of 1 to 10, the Thunder’s flex of 6 strikes a midpoint that balances stability with a touch of maneuverability.

Bataleon says about the Thunder 22/23
The Thunder is a straight-up speed freak that’s built for aggressive resort shredding and turbo-charged powder descents. Powerful riders will dig the smooth response we’ve dialed in through generous use of carbon and a beveled top-sheet towards the waist.
