Bach Wickiup 3 Footprint

The Bach Wickiup 3 Footprint is a dedicated groundsheet designed to fit the Wickiup 3 tent, adding an extra layer of protection between your tent floor and the ground. It helps shield the base of your tent from abrasion, moisture and dirt, extending the life of your tent and keeping the interior cleaner.

Made from lightweight 40D ripstop nylon with a TPU coating and weighing just 0.65 kg, this footprint follows the contours of your tent’s floor (275 × 220 cm) without adding bulk to your pack. The ripstop weave helps resist tears from sticks or rocks, while the TPU layer delivers a waterproof barrier that keeps damp ground from seeping through. Together, these features mean you spend more time enjoying the outdoors and less time worrying about wear and wetness underfoot.

In technical terms, 40D refers to the denier rating of the fabric, indicating a balance between light weight and durability. Ripstop nylon is woven with reinforcement threads that prevent small tears from spreading. The TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) coating gives the fabric a 10 000 mm hydrostatic head rating, which means it can withstand a column of water up to 10 meters high before leaking—enough to handle moderate to heavy rain and ground moisture.
