Product Description

The Volkl Yumi 80 is a mid-width alpine ski designed to offer a balanced ride on groomed slopes and varied terrain. With an 80 mm waist and a manageable weight, it’s aimed at skiers looking for a versatile tool that blends agility and stability without overcomplicating things.

At 161 cm, the Yumi 80 has a sidecut of 121/80/103 mm, which gives it quick edge-to-edge response thanks to the narrower waist, while the slightly wider tip and tail help maintain grip and reassurance through carved turns. The ski comes flat (without a pre-mounted binding), so you can choose your preferred binding system and mounting position. Weighing 1 350 g per ski, it strikes a balance between solid downhill performance and manageable swing weight.

The quoted 14 m turn radius describes the natural arc the ski will carve when tipped on edge: a medium turn radius that lets you link smooth, medium-sized arcs without having to fight the ski.
